1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the website at instantorthopediccare.com (the "Website") or receiving services from Instant Orthopedic Care ("IOC," "we," "us," or "our"), located at 75 E 12300 S, Suite 100, Draper, UT 84020, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Website or services.

2. Description of Services

Instant Orthopedic Care is an orthopedic urgent care clinic providing walk-in and appointment-based evaluation and treatment for musculoskeletal injuries and conditions. Our services include but are not limited to:

  • Evaluation and treatment of fractures, sprains, strains, and dislocations
  • Sports injury diagnosis and management
  • On-site diagnostic imaging (X-ray and ultrasound)
  • Casting, splinting, and bracing
  • Joint injections and pain management
  • Referrals for advanced imaging (MRI) and surgical consultation
  • Workers' compensation injury care

3. Not Emergency Medical Services

Instant Orthopedic Care is not an emergency room. Our clinic treats orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions. If you are experiencing a life-threatening emergency, including but not limited to chest pain, difficulty breathing, severe bleeding, head or spinal injuries, loss of consciousness, or signs of stroke, please call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room immediately.

We do not guarantee that our clinic will be able to treat every condition or injury. Our providers reserve the right to refer patients to an emergency department or other specialist when clinically appropriate.

4. Appointments and Walk-Ins

We accept both walk-in patients and scheduled appointments. While walk-ins are welcome during business hours, we cannot guarantee immediate availability. Patients with appointments will be given priority scheduling, though actual wait times may vary based on clinical urgency and patient volume.

Online appointment scheduling is provided through a third-party platform (AdvancedMD). Your use of the scheduling platform is also subject to its terms and privacy policies.

5. Patient Responsibilities

As a patient of Instant Orthopedic Care, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete personal, medical, and insurance information
  • Present a valid photo ID and insurance card (if applicable) at the time of your visit
  • Inform our staff of any changes to your health, medications, or insurance coverage
  • Follow treatment plans, discharge instructions, and follow-up recommendations as directed by your provider
  • Be respectful and courteous to all staff, providers, and other patients
  • Arrive on time for scheduled appointments or notify us of cancellations in advance

6. Insurance and Payment

We accept most major insurance plans, including Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, Cigna, UnitedHealthcare, Medicaid, Medicare, and workers' compensation. However, acceptance of insurance does not guarantee coverage for all services. You are responsible for understanding your insurance benefits, including copays, deductibles, and coinsurance.

Payment is expected at the time of service for copays, self-pay visits, and any amounts not covered by insurance. We accept cash, credit cards, and debit cards. If your insurance claim is denied, you are responsible for the balance.

Self-pay patients will receive transparent pricing before treatment begins. Typical visit costs range from $200–$400 depending on the services rendered.

7. Consent to Treatment

By receiving treatment at Instant Orthopedic Care, you consent to the examination, diagnostic procedures, and treatment recommended by our healthcare providers. For minors under 18, a parent or legal guardian must provide consent for treatment. Specific procedures may require separate written informed consent, which will be provided prior to the procedure.
